MG Windsor EV Pro: Features
Exterior
Windsor EV Pro features a design similar to the existing EV. It sports sleek lighting elements, flush door handles, and connected LED bars on both ends. It gets a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels with a new striking design pattern. It comes with a distinctive MPV-hatchback hybrid form factor
Interior
The inside also looks similar to the Windsor model with a central, large, and floating touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic glass roof, auto-dimming IRVM, two-spoke and flat-bottom steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. It features an updated seat upholstery, front armrest, roof, and column liners finished in beige. It gets V2V (vehicle to vehicle) and V2L (vehicle to load) functionality as well as a Level 2 ADAS safety suite and powered tailgate. Boot space stands at 579 litre.
Powertrain
It includes a 52.9 kWh LFP battery pack and a 7.4 kWh AC charger that takes about 9.5 hours to fully top up the battery. It also supports 60kW DC fast charging. Windsor EV Pro can travel up to a claimed range of 449km on a single charge. It comes with a 136 hp power output and 200Nm torque output.
MG Windsor EV Pro: Availability
MG Windsor EV Pro has officially been launched at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is applicable for the first 8000 bookings only. The booking will commence from 8th May. For buyers opting for the Battery-as-a-service (BaaS) model, the EV will be available at a lower price of Rs 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom) with a battery rental cost of Rs 4.5 per km. It is now offered in three new colors- Celadon blue, Glaze red, and Aurora Silver.
