The automaker Citroen has today launched its all-new Basalt X Comfort Edition in the Indian market. The Basalt X Comfort Edition comes with the ‘Comfort AXS’ packs and is available in ‘You’ and ‘Plus’ trims. This edition is launched on the occasion of Citroen’s 108th global anniversary. It is priced at Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

According to the company, this special edition of the Coupe-SUV brings a range of premium interior enhancements, convenience features and curated personalisation options.
Depending on the variant, the comfort pack adds features like beige leatherette upholstery, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, wireless phone charging, a JBL sound system, front and rear dash cam with ADAS function, ambient lighting, and a rear view camera.
There are no mechanical changes made. The base trim is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82hp and 115Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Plus trim is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 110hp and 190Nm of torque. The engine can be mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox (205Nm of torque).
