A video on Twitter and Reddit is surfacing in which a Tesla car driver can be seen rough driving and thrashing people on the road. This has caused the death of a motorcyclist and a high school girl. This event took place in China Guangdong on Nov 5 when a Tesla Model Y Car owner tried to stop his car in front of his family store but his car accelerated causing this havoc.
Tesla said that the car video is not showing the brakes lightly neither data showed any action taken by him to stop the car. Police have not answered any of the questions in this case. Chinese drivers have faced this brake failure issue in Tesla cars even before. So it would be interesting to see where it takes Tesla and how it’s going to cop up or address such problems in the future. Being a digital car it is prone to a glitch that makes it a bit more dangerous than others.
