A piece of good news coming in from Google as another Indian Mr. Prabhakar Raghavan will head Google’s Search Division.
According to a report first published by Search Engine Land Mr. Prabhakar Raghavan has been promoted and will replace Mr. Ben Gomes who is now being shifted to the education and learning initiatives and will report directly to Alphabet’s CEO Sundar Pichai.

Mr. Raghavan prior to taking this position was the head of Google ads and commerce business. He also served as a vice president of Google Apps and Google cloud services. Prior to working with google, Mr. Prabhakar has also worked with tech giant IBM and also with search giant Yahoo.
