The Vivo T5 Pro 5G smartphone has today made its debut in the Indian market. This device is claimed to be the slimmest 9020 mAh battery smartphone in the segment.

The device comes in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue colour options. The 8/128GB variant is priced at Rs 29,999, the 8/256GB variant is priced at Rs 33,999, and the 12/256GB variant is priced at Rs 39,999.

The official sale will start on 21^st April via Flipkart and the Vivo India website. The company is offering Rs 3000 off on Axis Bank/ HDFC/ SBI credit/debit card transactions or up to Rs 3000 exchange bonus.

The smartphone sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 5000 nits local peak brightness. The display comes with SGS Low Blue Light certification and SGS Low Flicker certification. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

It is backed by a 9020 mAh battery that comes with 4th-gen silicon anode technology. It offers 5 years of battery health. The device supports 90W FlashCharge, reverse wired charging and bypass charging. Users can charge the smartphone from 1% to 50% in 37 minutes. The smartphone packs a 50MP Sony main camera and a 2MP Bokeh camera on the rear side, while on the front it features a 32MP selfie camera.

The Oppo Find X9s Pro is already confirmed to be powered by a Hasselblad dual 200MP camera. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has today teased new features of its upcoming Redmi K90 Max smartphone and Redmi K Pad 2 tablet via the Weibo platform.

Redmi K90 Max & Redmi K Pad 2: New details teased

The Redmi K90 Max smartphone is backed by a 8550 mAh battery that comes with 16% ultra-high silicon content. The device supports 100W wired fast charging, 22.5W wired reverse charging and 100W PPS. The motherboard is powered directly, so it doesn’t overheat while playing and charging.

The smartphone features two Xiaomi Surge T1+ signal enhancement chips and an independent gaming antenna array, optimised for landscape use, reducing obstructions for a more stable network connection and lowering game latency by 20% and 15% reduction in live broadcast jams.

Coming to the Redmi K Pad 2, the tablet is confirmed to arrive 15300mm² ultra-large VC system. Oppo is set to launch a series of gadgets on April 21st, 2026, in its home market, China, and has been teasing the specs of these gadgets. Now, some additional details regarding the Oppo Pad 5 Pro and Oppo Pad Mini have officially been revealed.

Oppo Pad 5 Pro and Oppo Pad Mini specs revealed

Starting with the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, this tablet is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of 4.47 million, and will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 OS. It will pack a 13,380mAh battery (battery backup of up to 20 hours of continuous video watching) with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. A 13.2″ 3.4K resolution display with 1000 nits peak brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate are the display specs that have been confirmed today. This tablet will have a 5.94mm thickness, will weigh 672g, and will have HiFi-level speakers. Another detail confirmed in the poster is that it will come with support for a dedicated keyboard case featuring a full-area haptic trackpad and backlit keys (sold separately).

The next is the Oppo Pad Mini, which, as per the poster, confirms it will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, which has managed to get an AnTuTu benchmark score of 3.21 million. There will be two versions of this tablet, one normal and the other one will be the “Bright Eye” Soft Light Variant. Both will have an 8.8″ 2.5K OLED display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and 2.99mm ultra-narrow bezels. The tablet will pack an 8000mAh (typical capacity) battery (up to 19.5 hours of continuous video playback/up to 22.7 hours of continuous reading) and will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 operating system. The weight of the tablet is revealed to be 279g, and the thickness is 5.39mm (Standard version) / 5.46mm (Soft Light version).

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has today officially teased the launch of a new tablet in the Indian market.

The image reveals a glimpse of the rear panel. The OnePlus logo can be seen in the middle, while there is a pill-shaped camera module. There are three physical buttons- one at the top and two on the side.

The company has not revealed the moniker of this tablet. Last month, a new OnePlus tablet with model number OPD2514 was spotted on India’s BIS certification website. It was expected that the model number could either belong to the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro or the OnePlus Pad Mini. Though chances for the model number belonging to the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro were high, as the device was recently tipped to make its debut in India.

So, there is a possibility that this newly teased tablet could be the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro, but it is advisable to wait for official confirmation before coming to any conclusion.

In related news, Oppo will be introducing its new Oppo Pad Mini on 21^st April in the Chinese market and as per reports online, Oppo Pad Mini will launch globally as OnePlus Pad Mini.

The Oppo A6S Pro 5G smartphone has now been officially launched in China. Notably, this newly-introduced device arrives with a similar design and specifications as the upcoming Oppo F33 Pro 5G that is scheduled to debut tomorrow in the Indian market.

Oppo A6S Pro 5G – Specs and Features

Speaking first about its design, the Oppo A6S Pro 5G features what the brand calls an industry-first integrated cold-carving process, offering a one-piece seamless body design for a better in-hand feel. It also adopts an industry-first 3D micro-sculpting craftsmanship that creates flowing light and shadow effects on the rear panel. The smartphone also sports a star-ring macro flash design and golden curved edges for a comfortable grip.

Speaking about its display specs, it features a 6.57″ flat FHD+ (2372 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display having a 397 PPI pixel density and supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit colour depth with 1.07 billion colours, 600 nits typical brightness, and up to 1400 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Oppo A6S Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.4GHz, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage (storage can be further expanded as well).

This device runs on ColorOS 16.0 and comes with several smoothness-focused features such as Full Taskbar app switching, RAM expansion up to 24GB, Super Rainstorm Touch for wet-hand usage, and a 4300mm² large VC cooling system. Oppo also claims 72 months of long-lasting smooth performance certification from its lab testing.

A 50MP main wide camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP monochrome sensor are given at the rear, while on the front, it sports a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera supports up to 10x digital zoom, and both front/rear cameras support multiple shooting modes, including portrait, night, panorama, slow motion, time-lapse, and AI ID photo.

Moreover, it packs a massive 7000mAh battery, and it supports up to 80W Super Flash Charge. Despite packing a large battery, the device remains lightweight at about 194gm.

Other key specs of the device include an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, face unlock support, dual Nano-SIM standby, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port, stereo positioning support with Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, as well as multiple durability certifications, including IP69K water resistance and military-grade drop resistance.

The Oppo A6S Pro 5G is offered in three colour choices – Night Moon Glow, Lucky Lotus, and Azure Sky.

It packs a 7,000mAh battery with 15W fast wired charging support, which Realme claims can last 2 full days and even at 50% charge, you can still get up to 10 hours of video watching or 12 hours of gaming. Speaking more about the battery, well, it is designed to last for 6 years, which can continue to work perfectly in extreme temperatures like freezing cold (-20°C) or extreme heat (53°C), and also comes with smart charging features like bypass charging. There is also a reverse charging option as well.

Under the hood, it is powered by Dimensity 6300 SoC (6nm), which comes paired with up to 14GB of “dynamic” RAM and has managed to get a 560,000+ AnTuTu V11 Score. It comes with an Airflow Vapor Chamber Cooling System, which has a 5300mm² vapor chamber area (2x larger than previous flagships), and Realme claims it can lower the temperature by 2°C, and increase frame rate stability by 46%.

For Eye Care (DC Dimming), it features Bedtime mode, Paper-like Display, Full Brightness DC Dimming, and Flicker-Free DC Dimming.

This phone runs on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 Operating System and includes UI Features like Ice Cube Icons, Misty Glass Control Centre, and Breathing Dock (optimised for clarity and reachability). Brand new flux engine, which includes Flux Animation Framework, Flux Scheduling Algorithm, and Flux Booster, is also there. Via the AI Boost, it can automatically optimise the frequently used apps.

The open sales will begin on April 21st 2026, via Amazon India, Realme India website and other authorised retailers. Three memory variants are being offered with this smartphone, and these are 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB, which are priced at ₹13,499, ₹14,499, and ₹16,499, respectively. Also, frost silver and thunder black colour variants are available to choose from.

Amazon Leo (previously known as Project Kulper) yesterday officially introduced Amazon Leo Aviation Antenna, which is said to allow commercial airline passengers and crew to enjoy high performance from their departure gate all the way to their arrival gate.

Amazon Leo is preparing to provide fast, reliable internet connectivity to a wide variety of customers, using satellites in low Earth Orbit to deliver high speeds and low latency across land, sea and skies.

While Amazon Leo Aviation Antenna has numerous design features to increase aircraft and airline operational efficiency, the most noticeable impact will be on passengers and crew connecting to the Amazon Leo network, whether that’s at cruising altitude or parked at the gate.

Its full-duplex phased array technology delivers simultaneous speeds of up to 1 Gbps download and 400 Mbps uploads while users are aboard the aircraft. A single Amazon Leo Aviation Antenna provides enough bandwidth for premium connectivity experiences across every seat class, while the airline crew can use it to improve the passenger experience operations using near-real-time information.

This antenna features some of the same core technology that powers the Leo Ultra antenna. Aviation customers will install the antenna on the exterior airframe, and the antenna will use aviation-grade connectors to link to aircraft power systems and communicate with interior systems.

The antenna’s low-profile measures 58 inches long, 30 inches wide, and 2.6 inches high (147 by 76 by 6.6cm), minimizing added aircraft drag and fuel consumption. Its simple design with an integrated modem and streamlined mounting allows for single-day installation.

As aircraft fly overhead at 580 miles per hour, the antenna connects to Amazon’s network by establishing a link to a passing Amazon Leo satellite in low Earth Orbit. It then simultaneously hands off that link from one satellite to another as the aircraft and satellites move relative to each other.

From there, the satellite communicates with Amazon’s network of gateway antennas on the ground, each of which uses its global fiber network to reach the nearest AWS edge location and then onward to the internet, a customer’s resources on AWS or another cloud provider, or a customer’s private network.

It is revealed that Amazon Leo is building more than 300 ground gateways around the world to reduce network latency and enhance resilience.

“We’ve thought through every aspect of aviation operations to build an antenna and a service that deliver performance, reliability, and efficiency—and that shows in the Amazon Leo Aviation Antenna and the industry’s response to our technology,” Trevor Vieweg, director of global business for Amazon Leo, said. “We’re thrilled to have agreements in place already with Delta and JetBlue based on the strength of our initial offering, and it’s only going to get better from here as we innovate together with our customers.”
