Read more about it below.

TECNO Pova 8 5G – India Launch Teased

Via a post on X by TECNO India’s official account, the launch of the upcoming Pova 8 5G smartphone has been confirmed as the brand has put out the teaser. Though not any significant thing has been revealed via this teaser, it does show a Matrix Display, which could come as something similar to the Infinix Note 60 Pro’s Mini-LED indicator that acts like a Glyph interface. Furthermore, the tagline reads, “Light at play. POVA 8. DELETE NORMAL. Arriving soon.”

While this much has been shared online by the brand, earlier stories we did about this handset have also revealed a lot about it. Like via the Geekbench database, it was revealed that the device may come powered by the Dimensity 7100 SoC, Android 16 OS, and 6GB RAM, while the FCC certification had revealed about that the smartphone will be backed by a rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery with the model number “BL-77AT”, and it will be having a typical capacity of 8000mAh, along with a rated capacity of 7750mAh and 45W wired fast charging support.

Speaking more, the FCC database had also mentioned that the device was running on the “LK6-16.2.0” OS version, which confirms that it will come with the Android 16 operating system. Connectivity-wise, it will support GSM, WCDMA, 3G, 4G, and 5G connectivity, along with Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi 5G, and GPS (L1). To note, the NFC support could be region-specific. Also, the product FCC label revealed 8GB/256GB as one of the memory variants, along with the rear design as well.

Moreover, the Carlcare service website for the India region has also confirmed 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB as memory options for the India region. As for the launch, the brand has only teased its launch for now and has not even listed its microsite on any of the major e-commerce platforms. So, it will likely launch in this month, that is June, but an exact launch date announcement is still awaited.

Stay tuned for more updates.

This all-new laptop is said to compete with the MacBook Neo on price, while, as per the company, it exceeds on features when compared to the MacBook Neo.

Dell XPS 13: Features

The XPS 13 is 12.7mm thin and only 1kg in weight, making it the thinnest and lightest XPS ever made. It’s smaller and a half pound lighter than the MacBook Neo with a larger display. Dell has boasted the standard features of this laptop that won’t be available on a MacBook Neo: a 2.5K touch display, backlit keyboard, faster USB-C (3.2 Gen 2), Intel WiFi 7, Windows Hello and Quad speakers.

The 13.4-inch 2.5K touch display offers 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and 500 nits brightness. Equipped with variable refresh rate technology, the display adjusts automatically between 30Hz and 120Hz depending on what’s on screen. It is powered by Intel Core Series 3 or Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (available post launch) with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM.

With Intel WiFi 7 offered standard, all that rich content can be streamed seamlessly. With a 52Wh battery, it offers up to 17 hours of battery life. The dual-fan thermal architecture helps it stay cool and quiet. The chassis is aluminium (rigid, sleek and ultra-thin), while the laptop comes with a backlit keyboard and traditional touchpad.

Dell XPS 13: Availability

It comes in Sky and Storm finishes. The XPS 13 with Intel Core Series 3 processors (8GB RAM and 512GB SSD) will arrive in June, starting at $599 for students (16 and up) and $699 for everyone else.

The XPS 13 with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage) and the Storm colourway will be available later this summer.

According to a latest report by Counterpoint Research, India’s tablet market grew by 5% in Q1, 2026.

Indian tablet market grows by 5% in Q1, 2026

According to the report, the key reasons for this growth have been developments on both the demand and supply sides. On the demand side, consumers continue to have a growing inclination towards the larger screen sizes, 5G capabilities and higher configurations. On the supply side, domestic manufacturing has been growing strongly as more brands shift their portfolios towards localised products.

The Idea tab series by Lenovo and the Samsung Ultra series have shown decent performance over the quarters. The Q1, 2026, was essentially the launch period for Apple and Xiaomi, both of which launched at least one product with a larger than 12-inch display, further supporting the larger screen trend.

The domestic manufacturing expanded further, growing 61% YoY in volume terms. Samsung continues its strong lead in domestically produced tablets, Lenovo has pivoted its portfolio towards localised products, while Xiaomi and OnePlus have been benefiting from local production. Over the past few years, Realme and Oppo have also expanded their domestic manufacturing capabilities.

It is revealed that Lenovo has recaptured the second position in the Indian tablet market, while OnePlus has entered the top five list, driven by the strong performance of the Pad Lite and Go 2 series over the quarters.

Principal Analyst Anshika Jain said, “ Exports continue their expansion, reaching more than 200 thousand units during the quarter, with more brands like realme exploring the export market.”

In Q1 2026, the market experienced a double-digit increase in ASP. Though the memory cost inflation also affected the prices, its impact was relatively limited in the quarter. It is said that the rising memory price impact is expected to become more evident from Q2 as brands increase prices to manage margin and cost pressure.

It is also pointed out to be the most powerful Surface Laptop ever built by the brand.

Check out more about it below.

Surface Laptop Ultra – Officially Introduced

The US-based tech maker – Microsoft has now officially introduced the Surface Laptop Ultra, and this latest device has been designed for users who are building systems, breakthroughs, infrastructure, and other demanding projects. As mentioned, the newly-introduced Surface Laptop Ultra is also said to be the most powerful Surface Laptop ever built by the brand.

Speaking more, Microsoft has engineered the Surface Laptop Ultra with NVIDIA from the silicon up, and it has been optimised for RTX Spark, while also being built on Windows. The device has been made for creators, developers, and AI builders who work with massive scenes, long compile cycles, local models, and datasets that need higher performance than what standard laptops usually offer.

About its performance, Surface Laptop Ultra is the first laptop from the brand to combine a powerful NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 128GB of unified memory and full CUDA support. Unified memory allows the pool of RAM to be dynamically allocated wherever the workload needs it the most across the CPU and GPU, and this will help AI creation, 3D rendering, and multi-model workflows run simultaneously.

To add, the Surface Laptop Ultra is capable of offering 1 petaflop of AI compute, and it is also capable of running up to 120B parameter models locally. The device also features an ultra-efficient CPU architecture, and Microsoft says that this gives creators the headroom to push further. All-day battery life has also been mentioned for the laptop, however, battery life will vary based on usage, settings, and other factors.

Coming to its design and display, Microsoft says that the Surface Laptop Ultra has been designed from the inside out, with mechanical, electrical, thermal, acoustic, materials, industrial design, and software engineers working together from the first day. Platinum and Nightfall are its two colour choices.

For its display, the Surface Laptop Ultra has a 15-inch mini-LED PixelSense Ultra touchscreen, and it supports up to 2,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, 262 pixels per inch, and high-precision colour accuracy. Microsoft also mentions that this is the brightest display it has ever shipped.

Speaking more about the other key features, the laptop comes with the largest haptic touchpad ever offered on a Surface device. It also features ports including HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, SD card, and headphone jack. Microsoft also points out that the device has been made while focusing on performance, durability, and repairability together.

Regarding its availability, the Surface Laptop Ultra will be available later this year. Since it is currently a pre-release product, its features are subject to change and may also vary depending on the country or region.

Stay tuned for more updates.
