Coinbase Now Fully Accessible for Indian Retail Traders With Direct INR Support

As reported, Coinbase has made its full services accessible for Indian retail traders, and this has brought direct INR support in the country. With this, Indian customers will now be able to deposit and withdraw INR via IMPS, without having to rely on P2P rails or intermediaries.

Speaking more, Indian customers will also be getting access to spot trading across a range of assets, along with perpetual futures contracts covering major crypto assets. Local INR order books have also been built by Coinbase to provide dedicated liquidity for Indian customers, while continued access to its global exchange will also be offered.

For customers who need advanced functionality, Coinbase Advanced has been introduced with professional-grade tools, including APIs built to institutional standards, WebSocket order book streaming, and a full range of order types. To add, TradingView charting has also been integrated for customers who prefer a discretionary approach.

About fees and execution, taker fees on Coinbase Advanced are mentioned to be competitive when benchmarked against local platforms, and there are no deposit fees on INR. Execution quality has also been pointed out to matter, especially for higher-volume traders, and deep global liquidity may help in tighter spreads and lower slippage when compared to thinner local order books.

As of now, users can deposit INR from their bank account via IMPS, trade on spot or futures markets, and withdraw INR back to their bank when required. Existing Coinbase users will be receiving INR support as part of the current rollout, whereas new users can create an account via Coinbase’s official website.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Here is what is new in this update.

OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite – OxygenOS 16.0.5.901 Update

The rollout of the OxygenOS 16.0.5.901 update for the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is currently happening only in the India region with the firmware version number of “IN: CPH2805_16.0.5.901(EX01)”. Upon checking the changelog, the update not only brings the May 2026 Android security patch, but also brings in one new additional feature with some bug fixes and improvements as well.

Speaking more, the update adds the Motion cues feature, which reduces motion sickness when users use their phone in vehicles. Users can find this feature in “Settings – Accessibility & convenience – Motion cues”. It also reduces power consumption to extend battery life, improves system stability and performance, improves camera performance and stability, and improves network stability and compatibility.

The update also fixes an issue where, when the device is unlocked, the screen might turn black. As mentioned, it integrates the May 2026 Android security patch to enhance system security.

Some users may have already received this update on their devices, while if you have not received it yet, normally it takes around a week or two for the updates to be completed as it is a phased rollout. So likely, those who have not received it will receive it in the coming days or weeks.

For other regions, there is no official word from OnePlus yet, though we can expect it to happen soon.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Now, a new tip from a tipster has revealed that a second price hike for the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro could be imminent.

Here’s more about the update.

Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro’s Second Price Hike Tipped

This update comes from the tipster – Sanju Choudhary, who goes by the username @saaaanjjjuuu on the X platform, and he has claimed that Nothing is preparing to bring a second round of price hike for the above-mentioned two smartphone devices. As per the details shared by him via his X post, the Nothing Phone (4a) is said to receive a price hike of INR 3,000, while the Phone (4a) Pro’s pricing is tipped to be increased by INR 5,000 respectively.

Following this expected price hike, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro 8GB/128GB variant may be priced at INR 49,999 instead of INR 44,999, while its 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants may be made available at INR 52,999 and INR 55,999, respectively. Coming to the Nothing Phone (4a), its 8GB/128GB model could be priced at INR 37,999, whereas the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models may carry revised price tags of INR 40,999 and INR 43,999, respectively.

However, upon checking the e-commerce websites where both of these smartphones are currently listed for purchase, the new hiked pricing is not visible as of now. Though the tipster has claimed that the price hike has already taken place, it has likely first happened in the offline market and may soon be updated across online platforms as well.

Stay tuned for more updates.

It has been unveiled as a homegrown AI chip, which aims to bring advancements in the semiconductor and Edge AI ecosystem of the country.

Read more about it and its features below.

Netrasemi A2000 Edge AI SoC – Introduced in India

The newly-introduced Netrasemi A2000 Edge AI SoC has been brought out in India as the flagship Edge AI SoC from Kerala-based startup Netrasemi, and the startup is also backed by Zoho. As per what has been revealed, the chip is built on TSMC’s 12nm process, and customer trials have already started. With the launch of the A2000 Edge AI SoC, Netrasemi has achieved another notable step in India’s semiconductor and AI hardware development journey

Netrasemi’s A2000 aligns with India’s goal of attaining self-reliance in the advanced chip design industry, and brings a reliable and homegrown AI chip technology for the nation. As mentioned, the chip has achieved successful silicon bring-up and is now getting ready for commercial production. It has been designed for smart cameras, drones, robots, CCTV systems, industrial automation, and other such applications. Real-time video analysis, computer vision support, and on-device AI processing are a few of its key features.

Speaking more, as it is built to run AI tasks directly on the device itself, it will reduce the need to depend on cloud servers. This will help devices powered by the chip to offer faster responses, while also improving privacy as the data does not have to be sent to the cloud for processing. Thanks to its advanced design, it can also be used in devices that need to see, understand, and react to what is happening around them in real time.

To explain in simple terms, Edge AI means that AI runs directly on the device itself instead of sending everything to cloud servers. SoC or System-on-Chip means that multiple important components are packed into a single chip. CPU or Central Processing Unit is the general-purpose processor that handles everyday computing tasks, while NPU or Neural Processing Unit is a dedicated AI engine that speeds up tasks like object detection, image recognition, and AI inference. VPU or Vision Processing Unit is designed to process photos and videos efficiently, and ISP or Image Signal Processor improves image and video quality before the AI analyses them.

Thus, a device powered by the A2000 chip will be able to identify a vehicle on a road, detect a person on a security camera, or help a drone navigate much faster. Since India is still in the early stages of building its semiconductor ecosystem, the development of the A2000 Edge AI SoC by a Kerala-based startup will provide a good platform for the country’s growing talent base. Also to add, it marks another step forward in the advancement of India’s semiconductor and AI chip ecosystem.

Users can now use the new Multiview builder to select up to 4 live content they want to see. The company has introduced the ability to mix and match content across different packages. If you are a subscriber to a YouTube TV Plan and an add-on like NFL Sunday Ticket, you can now configure those streams together in a single multiview.

When you start a Multiview, you will see an updated builder flow. YouTube has added filter chips so you can easily browse through different categories: Recommended (personalised based on your viewing habits), Sports, Shows, News, Movies and other live content.

Do note that Multiview is designed for live content only. At this time, VOD (video on demand) and DVR content cannot be added to a Multiview. Additionally, select family-friendly content is not eligible for Multiview customisation.

It is revealed that this feature is rolling out to the vast majority of living rooms and mobile devices. But a small subset of older devices (less than 5%) may not support the full customisation UX. If you are on one of these devices, you will still have access to a Multiview builder, but it will be focused on major “tentpole” events like the NFL or World Cup.

What is Gemini Spark?

Gemini Spark represents a big shift for Gemini, transforming it from an assistant that can answer your questions into an active partner that does real work on your behalf and under your direction.

It runs on Gemini 3.5 and uses the Antigravity harness. It’s deeply integrated with the Workspace tools you rely on daily, like Gmail, Docs, Slides and more. Gemini Spark keeps working in the background even when you close your laptop or lock your phone.

With Gemini Spark, you can:

Secure recurring tasks or triggers- Automatically parse monthly credit card statements to flag new or hidden subscription fees.

Teach it new skills- Direct it to check your inbox for ongoing updates from your kids’ school, extract critical deadlines and send a consolidated daily digest to you and your partner.

Create complete workflows- Ask Spark to synthesise raw meeting notes across emails and chats, create polished Google Docs with its findings and even draft the companion email kicking off a project.
