Private sector and government employees mandated to use Arogyasetu app – Center Government

In a recent attempt to fight the pandemic, the central government made it compulsory to have arogyasetu app for working people both in the public and private sectors.

The use of Arogya Setu app shall be made mandatory for all employees, both private and public. It shall be the responsibility of the head of the respective organizations to ensure 100% coverage of this app among the employees,
The Union Home ministry said

This announcement to make the app compulsory was made on the very same day as the lockdown extension was announced by two weeks.

The mobile app provides users with information such as whether they are at risk of getting COVID-19. It also helps users with information on how to avoid COVID-19 infection and its symptoms.
