OnePlus Nord 6 Launching Today in India at 7 PM IST; Open Sale Set for April 9, Officially Confirmed

In the past few weeks, OnePlus has been teasing its upcoming Nord series smartphone, and today at 7 PM IST, the OnePlus Nord 6 is set to break cover in the Indian market. Ahead of its debut, the Amazon India microsite has now confirmed that the open sale for the device will begin on the 9th of April at 12 PM IST.

OnePlus Nord 6 – Key Specs and Sale Details Revealed

Prior to its launch, OnePlus has already revealed several key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. As per the officially teased details, the device will feature a triple chipset setup, including the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a G2 Wi-Fi chip, and a touch refresh chip. It will also be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.

Speaking of the display, the smartphone is revealed to sport an OLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate, up to 1800 nits peak brightness, and as low as 2 nits brightness for low-light usage. Additionally, a massive 9000mAh battery, along with IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings and US military-grade durability standards, are also part of the package.

For optics, the device is said to feature a 50MP Sony main camera with Dual Axis OIS and multi-focus support, coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide camera at the rear. A 32MP front-facing camera is also confirmed to be present for selfies and video calls. AI-backed features such as AI Translate, AI Writer, AI Pocket Scanner, Google Gemini, and Plus Mind are also confirmed to be included.

Based on these specifications, the OnePlus Nord 6 appears to arrive as a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6 that was recently launched in the Chinese market.

Apart from the officially revealed details, OnePlus is also tipped to introduce a Nord 6 Naruto Edition smartphone. However, it is likely to debut at a later date in the country.
