Vivo is preparing to launch its V80 5G and S2 FE smartphones in the Indian market on the 6th of October 2026, with availability through Amazon India and Flipkart. Now, just days ahead of their launch, the Vivo V80 has made its appearance on the UAE’s TDRA database, hinting at its launch in the UAE market as well.

Vivo V80 – Spotted on the UAE’s TDRA Certification Database
As mentioned, the Vivo V80 smartphone, which carries the model number of ‘V2648’ has been spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification database. The device is listed under the mobile phone category, with its marketing name mentioned as ‘Vivo V80’. It has received the equipment registration number of ‘ER65612/26’, with an issue date of the 30th of September 2026.

While the listing does not reveal any specifications of the device, its appearance suggests that Vivo could be preparing to introduce the smartphone in the UAE market too.
Speaking more about the Vivo V80, the brand has already confirmed that it would come with a 6.59″ OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, along with a 7,200mAh battery supporting 90W FlashCharge. In India, this device is likely going to be the first smartphone to launch with OriginOS 7 and will be offered in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black colour options.
While Vivo still hasn’t confirmed which chipset it is going to come with, some rumours claim that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Coming to its pricing, well, tipster Abhishek Yadav recently shared that the base 8GB/128GB variant is expected to cost INR 63,000, while the 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB variants have been tipped at INR 70,000 and INR 80,000, respectively. However, he did not specify whether these prices include any offers or discounts, so the official pricing remains to be announced.
