Possible Apple iPhone 17 Pro Test Prototype Leaked Online, Revealing Design That Aligns With Previous Renders

Ahead of its expected September/October 2025 launch, Apple seems to have begun the field testing of the next iPhone 17 series devices. The test prototype unit of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro smartphone model (possibly) has now been spotted during testing, and it aligns with the design elements that were previously revealed via its CAD-based renders.
Here’s more about the update.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro – Leaked Test Prototype
This update originally comes from an X user who goes by the name Fox Pupy (@Skyfops) and it has quickly gained attention in the tech community as it appears to be an actual field testing prototype of the iPhone 17 Pro smartphone. While the device is concealed within a Black protective case, notable design aspects such as the three triangularly-placed camera sensors at the top-left portion, along with the LED flashlight, microphone hole, and the LiDAR sensor at the top-right portion can be be easily spotted.
Additionally, an added camera button is there at the top-right corner as per what has been reported – again reiterating that the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro will likely be featuring two camera buttons (~ the other one on the right side panel itself). Also, while the display screen is not entirely visible, it can be understood that the display will be flat as always (reportedly with a screen size of 6.3″).
Speaking more, this time Apple is planning to introduce the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max smartphones under the latest iPhone 17 series. Already a lot about these devices were shared over the past few months, and last month the standard iPhone 17 base model was tipped to be tested with Green and Purple color choices.
