Motorola Edge 70 tipped to launch in India around 15th December; colour options revealed

Motorola launched its slimmest smartphone, the Moto X70 Air, in China first, and later released it globally as the Motorola Edge 70. Now, it appears the device will soon be making its way to the Indian market as well.

According to a new tip from Mukul Sharma on X, Motorola is expected to launch the Motorola Edge 70 in India around 15 December. He added that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a 50MP triple-camera setup (likely referring to dual 50MP rear cameras and a 50MP front selfie shooter), and support for reverse charging, although he didn’t specify the wattage.

Mukul also claimed that the Indian variant may come with a larger battery than the 4,800mAh unit found in the global model, while still maintaining the slim 5.99mm profile. In terms of pricing, he suggested that Motorola is aiming for around ₹35,000, which is lower than the global price.

The colour options are expected to remain the same as the global version: Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green. As of now, the India launch is still based on rumours, as Motorola has not made any official announcement. However, given Mukul Sharma’s strong track record with recent leaks, an official confirmation may not be far off.
