Exynos 1680 Chip – Bluetooth SIG Certification
The Exynos 1680 mid-range chip is believed to be used on the upcoming Galaxy A57 smartphone (via @Mohammed_K_2010), and its Bluetooth SIG listing has revealed that it will be supporting a Bluetooth connectivity version of 6.1. When compared with the previous Exynos 1580 chip (that was used on the Galaxy A56 device as well as on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and FE+ models), the latest Exynos 1680 chip will be capable of offering a significantly better Bluetooth performance as its predecessor only supported a Bluetooth version of 5.3.
Speaking more about the Exynos 1680 chip, as per its listing on Geekbench, it is revealed to be an octa-core chip featuring a core configuration with one prime core that runs at 2 GHz, four high-performance cores that run at 1.95 GHz, and three power-efficient cores that run at 1.70 GHz. The chip is also pointed out to be integrated with the Xclipse 550 GPU too, with two compute units clocked at 1,306 MHz.

Additionally, we can also spot the Exynos S6568 connectivity chip and the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold variants (South Korean – ‘SM-D639N’ and Chinese – ‘SM-D6390’) on the Bluetooth SIG database, along with the Exynos 1680 chip. Just to add, Samsung’s first and upcoming tri-fold device is also tipped to have its launch next month on the 5th of December 2025. Furthermore, the device was allegedly certified by the IMDA authority as well, confirming its arrival in the Singaporean market too.
