Snapdragon 855 SoC to be installed in Xiaomi’s Upcoming Foldable Smartphone

According to recent reports tipster, Kuba Wojciechowski has recently revealed that Xiaomi’s upcoming foldable smartphone is going to come up with the Snapdragon 855 to support a 5G network. He also included that this smartphone is a top-secret project by the flagship and only a few prototype models have been released to the public.

There have also been reports that the flagship is planning to introduce its next successor of Xiaomi 12. The Xiaomi 13 is said to include the standard model and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Recently through another tipster Yogesh Brar the details of the Pro variant were revealed.

All we know about the Xiaomi 13 Pro till now

The device is said to have a 6.73 inches E6LTPO display. It would likely have RAM up to 12 GB and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It would likely include variations of 8 GB and 12 GB RAM with internal storage of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.

This would have an Android 13 operating system and an MIUI 14 user interface. Talking about its camera then it has a 50 MP Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 32MP camera in front.
