Samsung to celebrate 4 years of its unbeatable foldable phone’s performance

The Samsung Z Fold and Z Flip took off with heavy market performance in the month of August last year. For Samsung, this August is like the two devices birthday. To mark the existential essence of the two amazing devices, Samsung is organizing a party whose guest of honor is their two foldable phones.

According to Samsung, they are not planning on executing any new dramatic upgrades or surprise release, as they don’t need to produce those thrills as of now. The foldable phone category of theirs will linger on for quite a long time according to them.

However, Samsung is also aware that, at the onset the devices were a little half-baked, awkward, too expensive and lacked durability. In spite of that, Samsung appreciates the development that took place in the subsequent versions of the two phones. Last year, the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 felt quite normal and featured robust water resistance and better usability.

On the other hand, Samsung’s competitors are still running circles around early design interactions. LG informed earlier that it will launch a roll able phone to the market and later quit making mobile devices. Similarly the 2020 Motorola Razr stands as overpriced, underwhelming and is due for updates.

The scenario in China is different as companies like Huawei and Oppo deliver foldable devices. In the year 2021, Samsung managed to ship around 10 million foldable devices with an 87 market share.
