Let’s remember the past! with Motorola discontinued models

Motorola Mobility is an American subsidiary company of Chinese multinational technology company Lenovo that manufactures consumer electronics and telecommunications products

Now there are many phones which are not manufactured by the company. These old models of Mobile phones somehow influenced the further ongoing development of the Industry and were very popular at one time.

Let’s go on the wave of nostalgia by having a look at some old discontinued models by Motorola

1. Moto E815 (2006) :

E series had inexpensive phones designed for a youth audience. A bright representative is E815. It’s a clamshell mobile phone that is the successor to the V710. It includes the following features

2. Moto Q (2006) :

It is a Windows Mobile smartphone and a thin device with similar styling to Motorola’s popular RAZR.

Runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 and has a landscape 320*240 screen. It includes the following features:

CDMA model with 800/1900 MHz bands

Intel XScale 312 MHz processor

QWERTY thumbboard, 5-way navigation button, and thumb wheel

Connectivity via Bluetooth, IrDA, and mini USB.

Multimedia messaging

Mini SD removable memory card slot max 2GB

Display: 320*240 pixels, 65K TFT

1.3MP camera with LED flash and 4 zoom levels

PIM functionality with picture caller ID.

3. Moto RAZR V3 (2004) :

In 2004 the phone became a style icon. It was made in the popular form factor” cot”. The main emphasis was placed on the bright, memorable design of the device. It includes the following features:-

2.2 inches diagonal display and a 176*220 resolution

The external STN display had a resolution of 96*80 pixels.

The camera took photos of 640*480 and video of 176*144 pixels.

Equipped with Bluetooth 1.2, GPRS class 10, and a mini USB

Internal memory was about 7.2MB

680mAh Li-ion battery

Dimensions of phone 98*53*14mm.

4. Moto ROKR E8 (2008) :

It was a more familiar candy bar, but it also could not do without exotics. The case was quite thin, but wide, and the back panel was made of metal. The lock was made in the form of an ade slider. It includes the following features:

It had a landscape orientation 2 inches diagonal display with 320*240 resolution.

Adaptive keyboard

Omega wheel touch ring with which you could scroll through lists, tracks, and radio stations and adjust the volume

2GB internal memory and a microSD slot

5. Moto RIZR Z8 (2007) :

It was a fairly experimental device. It has a black body with yellow elements. The design was named Kick slider. It includes the following features :

2.2-inch screen with 320*240, resolution

It ran on UIQ 3.1 platform

The screen was not touch

Motorola decided to get out with the help of so-called plug-ins that displayed the information the user needed.
