Apple adds a newly built-in screen reader feature in the iPhones

Apple has added a new built-in screen reader feature in it’s iPhones called VoiceOver to help those who have visual impairments.

Accordingly, VoiceOver works by speaking aloud everything that surfaces on your iPhone’s screen. Till now, Apple has developed the features more of it’s phones including detailed information of people, texts and other graphics. And now, the IPhone uses gestures to help their users to explore their iPhone without seeing at the mobile’s screen.

Along with the low-vision users, VoiceOver can also be useful in other ways too. Accordingly, you can use the VoiceOver with the Kindle app for listening to the books. Voiceover can also be helpful for the people who have limited mobility.

To enable the VoiceOver in your IPhones;

  1. Go to settings
  2. Click Accessibility
  3. Afterwards go to Vision heading there and then select the option of VoiceOver
  4. Then click the VoiceOver toggle to start using this feature
