Why gadget accessories maker dbrand trending on X? Here is why

Controversy and X, formerly known as Twitter, will always go hand in hand. And now it’s the gadget accessory maker “dbrand” that has grabbed the limelight this time. While everyone expects a humorous reply from certain brands to a post, this time it looks like “dbrand” took it a little too far.

Here is what happened

To begin with, a user on X, Bhuvan Chitransh, posted about some issues regarding a skin he bought for his MacBook. In his post, he stated that the skin was white and started turning yellowish. He further pointed out that this occurred just two months after he bought it. The support team of “dbrand” suggested some methods to clean the surface with a microfiber cloth.

But up until now, everything was smooth until the brand replied to Bhuvan’s post and quoted him saying, “Your last name is basically shit rash, be serious.” Roasting his last name. Now, you may think that a new message would have appeared from the brand apologizing for it.

Hey, no apology came from “dbrand”; instead, they are defending it by saying they just made fun of his name. After this, users have already started unfollowing “dbrand” on the platform X to show support. Some users are even calling it racism and cyberbullying.

The original person who posted the issue hasn’t made any comments yet regarding this name-calling. So, what do you all think about whether “dbrand” did the right thing or not?
