Twitter lists Facebook,Instagram and other similar platforms as prohibited platforms get to know why

In one of the previous articles, we mentioned that Twitter is conducting a poll for enacting a policy that will deter other social media platforms from advertising on Twitter.

And the result seems to have been taken by Twitter. This news came to light by a username Jane Mastodon Wong who shared the image of Twitter violation policy. According to this new policy, Twitter will remove any free promotion of prohibited third-party social media platforms on Twitter.

Twitter has mentioned the prohibited platforms that are Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, Truth Social, Tribal, Post, and Nostr. So after this, no other social media platform account holder will have to take care of any promotion-related stuff on Twitter. Because Twitter is itself a huge marketing place where the founder and CEO try to drive traffic to their own brand or app.

The founder and CEO of these prohibited social media platforms have not made any comment though it’s likely to come soon. Recently Twitter removed the homegrown microblogging app Koo’s account from Twitter.
