Musk’s blue tick comes with more perks than Twitter’s blue tick but at a cost of $8 a month

Twitter’s blue tick and Musk’s blue tick are not the same because Musk’s blue tick not only costs you $8/month but also gives you royalty. Twitter recently got its new owner who is the world’s richest person Elon Musk.

He seems to have got a lot on his to-do list other than the settlement of humans on Mars. It cost him $44 billion. And as soon as he took over major changes began coming out of headquarters. These changes include the removal of the CEO and others.

Now he has come up with this thing that says that blue tick won’t be for free it will cost them $8 a month. Earlier it was $20 a month but somehow a tussle of words with a user-led it to come down. So those users who want to get a blue tick will have to verify them and pay a monthly charge.

Musk, in a separate tweet detailed the other perks that would come with this $8(approx. Rs 662) package, saying users would get priority in replies, mentions, and searches, which is essential to defeating spam and scams, the ability to post long videos and audio, and half as many ads. According to Musk, this is going to help them to sustain Twitter and pay creators on Twitter.
