Musk to increase the Twitter Blue subscription to $11 from 9th Feb

Twitter is an American micro-blogging platform. Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter has been continuously making changes after occupying Twitter. Twitter Blue which is currently offered at $7.99 per month will soon be going to increase to $11 per month. This plan is going to start on 9th February 2023. The people who have already using the plan can continue using it.

The Blue Tick Subscription is designed to inform users about prominent, active, and legitimate accounts.

Along with this, subscribers receive some of the following features:

  1. Priority in answers, mentions, and searches is crucial for preventing spam and fraud.
  2. Ability to submit lengthy audio and video – a reduction of 50% in the number of advertisements.
  3. For publishers willing to cooperate with Twitter, a paywall bypass is available.
  4. Get verified account messages and notifications separately.
  5. Twitter will also have a source of income to pay content producers.

Previous to this Elon Musk also made many other changes to Twitter to make it free for speech and secure the user’s data. Along with it he removed the device tag present under the tweet.
