Brands go black and white in China to pay condolences over the demise of China’s former President Jiang Zemin

In China, many smartphones brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus, Vivo, Realme, HUAWEI, ZTE & ASUS have turned their official website’s UI to black & white, to express their condolences over the demise of China’s former President Jiang Zemin.

Chinese brands such as Li-Ning, Weibo, and Taobao have also turned their websites monochrome along with search engine sites such as Baidu.

The netizens have reacted in different ways seeing the unique way of showing respect for the death of the Chinese former Leader. Some rumors have been going on that this is making the customers reluctant to buy from the websites but we don’t see any reason for such a claim.
