Realme, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, has made its Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G smartphone devices eligible for the Realme UI 5.0 early access version update in India.

Here’s more about it.

Realme Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G – Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Version

The Realme UI 5.0 early access version as is known is a beta version update and even if it lets users of the Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G smartphones in India experience the latest features of Realme’s new custom skin, it will carry certain issues too, both known and unknown.

About the changelogs, the update will add Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamped system notification sounds to the device and will also be improving system animations to make them even smoother. On the performance side, system stability, launch speed of apps, and smoothness of animations will also be receiving improvements. The photo and video-related permission management system have been improved and an added File Dock feature will also be part of the update.

Regarding the known issues, the slide desktop function may not work while using floating windows, however this can be fixed by simply pulling down the status bar. The Glance Lock-screen will also be not available in the early access version, but it will be brought back with later updates.

Interested users of the mentioned smartphones can start applying for the Realme UI 5.0 early access version as of on the 19th of February 2024 onwards. Do note that not all will be receiving it and others will have to wait until the official version is rolled out. Applications can be submitted via the software update application channel after enabling Developer Mode. It should also be made sure that the device has the latest stable version of the Realme UI custom skin onboard, has a storage of at least 15GB left, and that the battery charge is 60% or more.

To submit feedback regarding the encountered bugs or other issues in the early access version update, users may make use of the logkit on the device.
