Realme’s 10 Pro 5G and 10 Pro+ 5G Now Eligible for Realme UI 5.0 Open Beta Program in India

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Realme, has opened its Realme UI 5.0 open beta program for two more smartphone devices in India. Interested users of the respective smartphones can start submitting their applications to experience the latest custom skin before the official version roll out.

Here’s more about it.

Realme 10 Pro 5G and 10 Pro+ 5G – Realme UI 5.0 Open Beta

The Realme UI 5.0 open beta version update based on the Android 14 beta can now be applied and installed on Realme 10 Pro 5G and 10 Pro+ 5G smartphones in the Indian region. But do keep in mind that this is still the beta version and it will be carrying bugs and other issues in it.

Some of the changelogs are the upgraded Aquamorphic Design, added Aquamorphic-themed ringtones, revamped system notification sounds, smoother system animations, and improved system stability and launch speed of apps. For better productivity, there are features such as Fluid Cloud, File Dock, and an improved Shelf with more widget recommendations. On the performance side, the brand has also brought improvements to the photo and video related permission management system. A carbon tracking AOD will also be introduced with the update.

Speaking of the known issues, when using floating windows, the sliding function in desktop may probably not work. By pulling down the status, users will be able to fix it. The Glance Lock-screen has also been removed, but will be added later with more future updates.

To apply, go to “Settings”, enable Developer Mode, and then visit the software update application channel. Select “Beta program” after clicking on the icon at the top-right corner, and pick “Open Beta”. Following the necessary information users will be able to apply very easily.

Before applying and updating, do make sure that the smartphone runs on the latest stable version of Realme UI and that the device has at least 60% battery charge left. Feedback can be submitted via logkit.
