The Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, has started to roll-out the OxygenOS 13.1.0.591 update to its 2021 flagships – OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The update brings the latest September 2023 Android security patch to the device.

OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro OxygenOS 13.1.0.591 Update
The OxygenOS 13.1.0.591 update that is currently being rolled out to the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones is only for their Indian users. It will update the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones with the firmware versions – LE2111_13.1.0.591(EX01) and LE2121_13.1.0.591(EX01), respectively. The September 2023 Android security patch will also be integrated to the two devices with the update.
As always, the update is incremental in nature and only a few of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users would have received the update by now. A wider roll-out is planned to take place soon, after which more users will receive the update.
If users come across any sorts of bugs or issues, it is also advised that they report it, and they may do so by dialing “*#800#” on Google Dialer and can submit on the pop-up menu which appears. Users may also submit it via the feedback form given on the respective update page or may type it as comments directly on the update thread.
