An update should have been a surprising moment for Mi users but the response doesn’t seem like one. MIUI India announced the MIUI14 update for the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G in India. This update brings Android 12, not the latest Android 13 which users expected it to bring.
It’s surprising to see because last month we saw the older Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 11 SE getting Android 13-based MIUI 14. If we talk about the features that this update is going to add it would be super icons on the phone’s home screen, new widgets l, support for the quick app launch, and enhanced device performance. It also improves the battery’s life. This rollout will be first available for those users who enrolled in the Mi pilots program via MIUI Downloader. Later it will be rolled out for other users.

If you own any one of the models between Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, you just simply need to go into settings and look for the update there.
