Google Rolls-Out its Monthly Software Update to Pixel Smartphones: Check Out the Eligible Devices

Google has started to roll out the monthly software update to several of its pixel smartphones. The update includes a lot of fixes and improvements apart from the monthly security fixes.

Google’s Monthly Software Update of Pixel Smartphones

The tech giant, Google has started to roll out its monthly software update to pixel devices, and all the supported devices running on the Android 13 operating system will be receiving the update starting today. By next week all the Pixel smartphone users will receive the update and once the update is made available, they’ll be notified of it.

The June 2023 monthly security update will also be including fixes and improvements apart from the security updates, improving the device’s performance, connectivity, and overall system stability.

In the user interface, certain issues with app titles, notifications, app drawer, keyboard, lock screen, volume controls, wallpaper, mobile network icon, quick settings, touch sensitivity, and feedback will be fixed. There will also be improvements brought to Google account syncing and its connection with other apps.

Regarding connectivity, general improvements in Bluetooth stability and performance, improvements in network connection stability, fixes of eSIM issues, and improvements in Wi-Fi connectivity will be brought with the new update. The issues with the NFC function will also be resolved. General improvements in the device’s camera performance, brightness levels, and audio functionality are also part of the update.

With the June 2023 update, improvements will also be brought to the device’s battery usage on certain occasions along with other general improvements in the thermal performance, battery usage, and charging.

As mentioned above, all the supported devices running on the Android 13 operating system will be receiving the June 2023 monthly security update, and for users who haven’t updated their device to Android 13, Google asks them to update the device to the latest Android OS in order to receive the monthly security update.
