Checkout the new Make Emergency Calls feature with One UI 5

Samsung has been continuously releasing its new Android 13-based One UI 5 update for its devices. In addition to previously released new features, it has added the new Make Emergency Call feature to its list. These features allow the users to enable the calls with just on a click of a button.

It’s not a new feature and is already present in many other company smartphones. The Emergency Dialer enables the device to create a list of all the available emergency services numbers (Police, Fire, and medical department) based on the user’s current location.

It is a very useful feature for travelers as they get updated emergency numbers according to their places and we don’t have to search for them.

The users could even save and view their medical information by clicking on the “View medical info” button on the Emergency call screen.

The feature can be accessed in two ways:

  1. Go to the phones lock screen and click on the “Emergency call” button
  2. Keep holding the power button and from the power, menu clicks on the “Emergency SOS” button.
