Elon Musk on Twitter “Ancient instincts will guide me!”

Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk shared a meme on Twitter about relying on ancient instincts rather than Google Maps to find a route.

Users enjoy using Google Maps since it provides satellite imagery, aerial photography, street maps, 360° interactive panoramic views of streets, real-time traffic conditions, and route planning for travelling by foot, car, bike, air, and public transportation.

The satellite view on Google Maps is a “top-down” or bird’s-eye view; the majority of the high-resolution imagery of cities is aerial photography taken from aircraft flying at 800 to 1,500 feet (240 to 460 m), while the majority of other imagery is satellite imagery.

Google Maps has a route planner that allows users to find available directions by driving, taking public transportation, walking, or biking. Google has collaborated with over 800 public transportation providers around the world to adopt the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS), making data available to third parties.
