Tenet director Christopher Nolan teased Mumbai’s scenes and gushed about Dimple Kapadia in a video message addressed to fans in India.

Tenet is finally scheduled for release in India this weekend after a long wait. A stellar star cast is in the Christopher Nolan directory. John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, and Dimple Kapadia are all interested. The movie was filmed in different cities, including India’s Mumbai.

Director Nolan reached out to fans in India with a sweet video message ahead of Tenet’s release, as fans in the country prepared to step into the theater to watch the movie.

The filmmaker said he’s happy that viewers in India will have the chance to watch the film on the big screen. Nolan teased that the movie’s most thrilling scenes were filmed in India’s financial capital, speaking of his experience filming in Mumbai.

“Some of which with the great Dimple Kapadia. We had an amazing time shooting in India,” Nolan said.

He hopes that audiences will appreciate the film. While the video message was all things good, when we saw the framed poster of The Dark Knight in the background, we could not stop our hearts from melting. Check out the following video:
