SpaceX launches 10 rockets to every one by its main American competitor

SpaceX recently launched two Falcon 9 rockets. The first rocket that lifted on Friday night carried nearly three tons of supplies to the International Space Station and two new space suits. The second mission that was launched on Sunday boosted another batch of 53 Starlink satellites. The on-orbit total after this amounts to more than 2,500 operational Internet spacecraft.

SpaceX has launched 31 rockets successfully this year. This year SpaceX mixed payloads including its Starlink satellites, crew and cargo missions for NASA, Department of Defense missions and commercial satellites. The Falcon 9 as on Monday has launched every 6.4 days this year, lofting nearly 300,000 kg into low Earth orbit. Comparatively, this is more than any other country and company in the world. It is likely that two more SpaceX will do two more Starlink launch this week.

The company has stretched its boundary of reuse. In the month of June, they flew three different first stages on its 13th flights. SpaceX officials asserts that they have collected enough data about reusing these first-stage cores.

At present SpaceX is launching at a rate of 10 rockets to every one of its main American competitor, United Launch Alliance. Both the companies have 100 percent success rates during this time.

Founder and CEO of Elon Mask replied to a retweet on Twitter and mentioned that this is just the start. According to the CEO, to make life multiplanetary about 1000 times more mass to orbit per year will be required.
