Twitter/X Blue subscribers can now hide their Blue checks, subscribers recently noticed

Hearing a new change or a new update about Twitter/X has now become very common and most users have now got used to this. Seems like Elon Musk took over this social media platform to bring a complete change to the app. Recently the logo and name of the platform were changed to “X” in the name of re-branding of the app.

While Musk recently confirmed that Twitter/X will soon be available in dark mode only. The users were still adapting to the new changes like changing of the name of the platform, paying for the verified blue tick, posting long videos, and much more when yet another change has now arrived on the platform. Twitter/X Blue subscribers can now hide their blue checks.

The subscribers have recently noticed that they have now been getting a “hide your blue checkmark” option on the web and in mobile apps. This means that the users can now hide that they are paying for the blue checkmarks and it will be hidden on the user’s profile and posts. According to a Twitter support article, “The checkmark may still appear in some places and some features could still reveal you have an article subscription. Some features may not be available while your checkmark is hidden.”

This Blue checkmark has created a lot of chaos also as after paying the subscription fee many users received this checkmark. To avoid the confusion and chaos if you now subscribe to Twitter Blue the service will add an optional blue checkmark to an individual’s profile with a “verified since” date attached. So now you can now recognize the date on which the account was originally verified on Twitter before the blue subscription system.

With these new changes constantly arriving on Twitter/X, let’s see what more changes are to arrive for the users and platform.
