Outlook search has been found broken on the Windows 11 systems

The giant tech company Microsoft has been inspecting on an issue regarding the Outlook search which is not displaying the emails in the desktop apps on Windows 11 systems.

Consequently, this issue is affecting the POP, IMAP and offline Exchange accounts since Outlook’s search option uses the local Windows Search service to display emails.

Currently, the company is been working on the issue to solve it. Accordingly, it has shared a temporary fix for the users who were affected from this issue until a solution is made. Consequently, as a temporary fix, the company has advised its Windows 11 users that, to reduce the Outlook search error, the user should disable the Windows Desktop Search and should switch to Outlook’s built-in search engine for their work.

Since from last year, Outlook users has been experiencing the search issues in their accounts. Consequently, the users reported about the problems they are facing in the Outlook for Microsoft 365, Outlook 2019 and Outlook 2016 after upgrading it to Windows 11.
