IBM to help CBSE insert AI Curriculum in 200 Schools across India

Data innovation major IBM said on Thursday it is working together with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to coordinate computerized reasoning (AI) in the secondary school educational plan (grade 11 and 12) for the current scholarly year (2020-21).

The educational plan is a piece of CBSE’s Social Empowerment through Work Education, and Action (SEWA) program and will be presented in around 200 schools across 13 states – Delhi-NCR, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Kerala, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab.

The IBM AI educational plan is organized around a course system for understudies comprising of base strands of information (essentials, history, applications), aptitudes (structure thinking, computational reasoning, information familiarity, basic reasoning), and qualities (moral dynamic, inclination) in AI.

It is additionally made strong with issue based learning results and appraisal techniques for educators to manufacture fundamental aptitudes of AI in understudies making them purchasers of AI as well as makers too.

To meet CBSE’s prerequisites for grades 11 and 12, the educational program was co-created with Australia’s Macquarie University and Indian execution accomplices – Learning Links Foundation and 1M1B.
