Latest developments from Wednesday, 17 April 2024 saw Brave announcing that they have now incorporated their answer engine with AI-power. Brave has enhanced its answer engine to be capable of giving a user AI-powered synthesized answers. Users from across the globe can now avail this feature.

Titled “Answer with AI”, this new feature provides neatly formatted answers to various questions. Moreover, it is capable of providing you with summarized reviews and salient points, when you are seeking it for a restaurant, etc.

The summarization feature of Brave however dates back to March 2023, when they first launched the AI-powered summarization feature. In the latest updates, the company is affirming that its latest AI-powered search engine is an advanced upgrade to that.

The new feature will automatically rely on AI to provide a summarized format. And for other queries, you can use an AI search manually.

The company has stated that the “Answer with AI” is incorporated with a combination of large language models (LLMs) and reliable data. A combination of Mixtral 8x7B and Mistral 7B as primary models is also used. Along with it, for semantic matching and answering, the feature uses custom transfer models.
