Freeze idle apps and optimize your battery usage on your Realme device with the use of the App Quick Freeze feature
If you are a Realme smartphone user, you can now optimize your battery usage with the use of the “App Quick Freeze” feature. This feature can pause idle background applications, which will optimize battery usage and allow your device to perform faster as well.
You can use this feature by following these steps.
If you are a Realme user with Realme UI 1.0, first of all, go to Settings on your Realme device.
Next, you can go to Battery settings and then choose the option of ‘App Quick Freeze”.
If you are a Realme user with Realme UI 2.0 & 4.0, first of all, go to Settings on your Realme device.
Next, choose the option of Battery, followed by “More battery settings” and finally choose the option of “App Quick Freeze”.
If you are a Realme user with Realme UI 3.0, first go to Settings on your device.
Secondly, choose Battery Settings and move over to Advanced Settings. Next, choose the option of “App Quick Freeze”.
It is to be noted that the feature is not available as of now for Realme UI R & S & T & Go Edition.
Upon, turning on the App Quick Freeze feature, applications which are frozen won’t be usable by other applications. For other apps to be able to use a particular app frozen by App Quick Freeze, the feature would have to be turned off. When the App Quick Freeze feature is on, frozen apps can be turned on normally from the home screen.
