A netizen posted problems with the Income-tax portal and sought help from CA Club and Income Tax

A netizen on Twitter posted an image of an error being displayed on the Income tax portal. In that image, the user talked about how he was facing problems while filing an Income Tax form. The user then explains that this is the error “What is a “caught error description as null”? on the income tax portal. He then asked for help from the CA Club of India and the Income Tax Department to solve this query and wanted to know the reason why he was getting this error.

Several users posted problems with the income tax portal. When the income tax portal was launched in the month of June last year several users complained that they will not able to file Income taxes on time. Even the finance ministry was not satisfied with the portal. However, after a certain point of time, Nirmala Sitharaman who is the current head of the finance ministry came and said that the portal is now functioning well and there shouldn’t be any kind of problem anymore.

However, this problem didn’t stop right there. People are still posting issues with the income tax portal not working well and getting errors while filing for their income tax online through the portal.

The income tax portal has been used by many people in India to file their income tax returns. As the date is coming nearer and there is a provision of 5000 rupees of penalty on people who don’t file their income tax on time. People are rushing toward the income tax portal to file their returns on time.
