Fortnite has a history of working with some non-gaming celebrities, such as Travis Scott and Marshmello, like the top-rated battle royale game. Now it looks like they are adding to their roster another trendy name – Dwayne’ The Rock’ Johnson.
As he reacted to a Thanksgiving Parade float, the actor teased the possibility of his Fortnite skin.
It all began with actor Brandon Davis commenting on a photo of the float with- “Why does @TheRock float look like a #Fortnite skin of The Rock?”
Then Actor Joshua Erenberg stepped in with,”…. Don’t give them ideas.
Johnson stepped in himself to say this was followed by- “Way ahead of you, BD. Great minds.”
This can be taken as a clear indication of something being cooked together by Fornite and The Rock, at least we hope they are and this time you’re going to get to wear it if not smell it.
In the past, Fortnite has worked with both musicians and common genres, such as Star Wars, NFL, Marvel, etc., so it is not difficult to cooperate with The Rock.
Fortnite’s latest season is a partnership with Marvel which has superheroes battling with Galactus in the Nexus Campaign, such as Thor, Wolverine, Iron Man, etc.
With the “Devourer of Worlds” case today, the current season ends, and it’s time for Fornite to kick off something fun and new.
The Rock Skin could be a perfect start to the new season with all of this going on.
