Microsoft employees will continue to have the free access of their free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefit

Earlier this year Microsoft employees were informed that their free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefit would no longer be available to them, The Verge reported. As per the report few Microsoft employees objected to the internal messaging platform. The Xbox Chief Pill Spencer was not aware of the changes though after the post of the Microsoft employees, he came forth to handle the situation.

Now the new update has come through The Verge report that mentions Spencer’s full message to Microsoft employees on the company’s internal Viva platform.

The message reads “After looking into this more with the team, I just want to confirm that no change will be made to Game Pass availability in 2024.

If you have access to the Game Pass offer today you will continue to have access. I appreciate the time to get up to speed and am sorry for the questions and confusion created. And thanks for supporting Xbox.”

This means employees will continue to have free access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It’s still unknown why Microsoft earlier decided to remove the benefit for the employees.
