The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Xiaomi, had very recently unveiled its Watch 2 and Smart Band 8 Pro devices in the global market. A tipster on the Twitter/X platform has now pointed out that these two wearable devices could be making its way to India soon.

Xiaomi Watch 2 and Smart Band 8 Pro Likely Soon Arriving in India
As per the update shared by the tipster, it has been mentioned that the Watch 2 and Smart Band 8 Pro, two of the brand’s latest wearable devices, may possibly be unveiled in the Indian market soon. Some of the key specs of both these devices have also been added in the Twitter/X post, along with their expected prices. The Xiaomi Watch 2 could be priced below Rs. 20,000, while the Smart Band 8 Pro price in the country maybe below than Rs. 5,000.

Xiaomi Watch 2
The Xiaomi Watch 2 has the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset onboard and it runs on Google’s Wear OS. The smartwatch has an aluminum metal body with 5-ATM water resistance capability. For its display, an AMOLED display panel is present with a screen size of 1.43″ and screen resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. On the connectivity side, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (with Dual Band Support) and Bluetooth of version 5.2. A GPS receiver is also there on the device. Health monitors including heart rate and SpO2 trackers are also part of the device. A 495 mAh battery is also backed within to offer a decent battery life to users.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro features an OLED display with a screen size of 1.74″. The device also has a metal coated frame and is 5-ATM waterproof. The quick-release strap design is a notable feature of this smart band. Regarding its other features, multiple health trackers and 150+ sports modes are onboard. Always-on display(AOD), GPS tracker, 289 mAh battery that offers up to 14 days of battery life are also some of its features.
