The new 2nd Gen HomePod and new MacBook Pros were recently launched by Apple. Now the company has hiked the prices of existing HomePod mini and 24-inch iMac in India. The revised prices can be seen on Apple’s official website, though they are still retailing at old prices on the brand’s authorized resellers and other online platforms in the country.

HomePod Mini was launched in 2020 at a price of Rs. 9,900 but now after seeing a price hike of Rs.1,000 it is priced at Rs.10,900.
As the 24-inch iMac is concerned, it debuted in April 2021, now after a price hike all of its variants have seen a price rise of Rs. 10,000. The base variant with an 8-core CPU and 7-core GPU earlier cost the consumer Rs. 1,19,900 and now it is available for Rs. 1,29,900. The iMac model with 8-core CPU and GPU and 256 GB storage was earlier available for Rs. 1,39,900 which now costs Rs.1,49,900. The third variant with an 8-core CPU and GPU and 512 GB storage is priced at Rs. 1,69,900 which was earlier available at Rs.1,59,900.
Specifications of HomePod Mini and iMac
HomePod Mini comes with a mesh fabric design and there’s support for the S5 chip and U1 chip too. It gets four microphones and support for Siri. There’s support for Sound Recognition, temperature and humidity sensors, and the Stereo Pair feature. The device comes in Blue, space grey, white, yellow, and white colors. The temperature sensor in the device will let users record and monitor room temperature. It is expected to arrive with the upcoming HomePod 16.3 software update.
iMac comes in 3 different variants- First Model with an 8-core CPU and 7-core GPU comes with 8GB of unified RAM and 256 GB of storage, the second model with an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU with 256 GB of storage and 8GB of unified memory. The third variant with 8-core CPU and GPU along with 8 GB of unified RAM and 512 GB of storage. Also, the 24-inch iMac has a 4.5k display with 500 nits of brightness, an M1 chip, two Thunderbolt ports, and a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID.
