Earlier this week, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station leaked key details about the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip foldable phones. In a new leak, the tipster shared details about the battery size and the weight of the Fold 4. Here is a look at the new details shared by the tipster.
DCS’ latest leaks suggest that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will pack two batteries totaling around 4,875mAh (with a typical value of approximately 5,000mAh). The device will have support for wireless charging.
For photography, the Mix Fold 4 will feature a quad-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It will also include a periscope and telephoto camera for a better optical zoom experience. The leaker added that the initial feedback on the device is good, particularly regarding the quality of the glass body construction. Its weight is speculated to be in the range of 220 to 229 grams.
In his previous leak, the tipster claimed that the Mix Fold 4 would be the slimmest foldable phone. He revealed that the camera module will include a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 60-megapixel OmniVision OV60A 2x telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The device will also have an IP rating.
As far as launch is concerned, the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip will debut in the third quarter of 2024. The Flip model is also expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and the same rear camera setup but lacks a periscope zoom camera.
