Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra Received Singapore’s IMDA Certification

The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, has already confirmed its first Unpacked Event of the year which is scheduled to be conducted this month globally. The event will be unveiling the brand’s latest flagships of the Galaxy S24 series to the world.

As the launch is approaching, the plus and ultra models of the series have been listed on the IMDA certification platform of Singapore, revealing some of their connectivity features.

Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra – IMDA Certification

The upcoming Galaxy S24+ smartphone has made it to the IMDA certification platform with the model number – “SM-S926B/DS”, whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra bears the model number – “SM-S928B/DS”, and the two are revealed to be 5G devices with NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and UWB connectivity supports. Just to add, a few days back, the vanilla S24 model was also certified by the IMDA certification authority.

Speaking of the previous certifications, the S24+ smartphone with this same model number has received Indonesia’s SDPPI and Thailand’s NBTC certifications. This model has also been listed on the Geekbench database, suggesting it to be the Exynos variant of the smartphone. The Ultra model was also spotted on the NBTC as well as on the BIS Indian databases with the above model number.

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ devices will be having two processor variants(Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400) depending on different regions, and in India the S24+ is tipped to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset onboard. 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage options are being expected for the S24+ device, along with Grey, Black, Violet, and Yellow color choices.

The S24 Ultra will likely only have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for all regions, with expected storage options of 12GB/256, 12GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB, and expected color choices of Black, Grey, Violet, and Yellow.

Samsung’s Unpacked Event 2024 will be conducted officially on the 17th of January 2024 and as mentioned, the S24 series devices will be released. The brand’s new AI features will also be presented to its fans via the soon commencing event.
