OPPO Pad Neo launching soon, Bluetooth SIG certification hints at OnePlus tablet rebrand

OPPO is reportedly developing the OPPO Pad Neo tablet for the global market. The device has already received approvals from various certification platforms, including SIRIM (Malaysia), NTBC (Thailand), and IMDA (Singapore). The tablet has now passed the Bluetooth SIG certification process. Typically, devices are launched within a month of receiving Bluetooth certification. Therefore, it is plausible that the Pad Neo may make its debut in January 2024.

Two model numbers, such as the OPD2302 and OPD2303 are associated with the OPPO Pad Neo. Both variants have been spotted in SIRIM’s database before. There is a possibility that one of them could be a Wi-Fi + 4G version, whereas the other one could be a Wi-Fi-only variant.

OPPO Pad Neo Bluetooth SIG

As can be seen in the above screengrab, both the OPPO Pad Neo variants have received certification from the Bluetooth SIG authority. The listing also suggests that the Pad Neo heading to the global market will be a rebranded version of the OPPO Pad Air 2, which was announced with the Reno 11 series in November of this year.

For those who don’t know, the Pad Air 2 is nothing but a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Go, which was announced earlier this year. The Pad Go is equipped with an 11.4-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.4K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has the Helio G99 chip, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and an 8,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front and another 8-megapixel snapper on the rear. The tablet is equipped with quad stereo speakers and runs on OxygenOS 13.2-based Android 13.

In all likelihood, the Pad Neo may go official with the Reno 11 series, which may debut in January or February 2024 for the global market.
