OnePlus to Launch Three New Smartphone Devices: Shares Tipster

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OnePlus is to launch three new smartphone devices. Two of them have already been reported to be in the works.

Here’s more about it.

Upcoming Smartphone Devices from OnePlus

This update comes from a tipster on the Twitter platform, Mukul Sharma who has tipped the arrival of three new smartphone devices from OnePlus. He has mentioned the OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, and a new smartphone – OnePlus Nord 4 in his Twitter post.

As mentioned above, reports have already revealed that the OnePlus Open and the OnePlus 12 smartphones are in the works. The OnePlus Open is expected to have its launch next month on August 29 and the OnePlus 12 smartphone has been tipped to have its debut in China by the end of this year.

Regarding the OnePlus Nord 4, this is the first time such a device has been reported and it is not sure if the device will be called “OnePlus Nord 4”. This is because, in China the number “4” is considered bad luck and we have previously seen smartphone makers, including OPPO and Vivo, skipping the 4 series for most of their smartphones. We’ll have to wait for more updates to confirm the arrival of the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone.

What we know so far

The OnePlus Open, OnePlus’s first foldable device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is expected to run on the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 custom UI. A 50MP triple camera setup is expected at its rear with an additional 48MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP periscope telephoto camera and for selfies, a 32MP selfie cam is expected. The device might share the same aspect ratio with the OPPO Find N2 and is likely to be available in two colors – Black and Green.

The OnePlus 12 smartphone is expected to feature a 2K curved OLED display and is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device is also likely to support 150W wired and 50W wireless fast charge features.
