A few days back, the smartphone brand Lava officially shared the teaser of Lava O2, and the smartphone was said to soon launch in India. The product page for the device was also found listed on Amazon which revealed the detailed specs of the device, though later the page was removed from the website.
Today Lava has officially confirmed that Lava O2 will be making its debut in India on 22 March at 12 PM.
While the microsite for the device is also available on Amazon which reveals that the smartphone will offer 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will pack up a 50MP AI rear camera and will arrive with an 18W charger in the box. The device has been revealed in a Purple color variant while the official teaser shared earlier showcased a Green color variant. The design of this upcoming device is similar to Lava Yuva 3 Pro.
Lava O2: Specifications
As per the previous report, the device will be powered by a Unisoc T616 octa-core processor and will also have the Android 13 operating system out of the box. Its display will be 6.5″ large and will support an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels). A punch-hole selfie camera unit will also be present, and its refresh rate is noted to be 90Hz.
At the rear, it will house a 50MP AI dual camera setup within the camera module, along with the LED flashlight. An 8MP front-facing camera is also part of the device. A large 5000 mAh battery (lithium polymer) will be backed on the device. For a faster charging experience, an 18W USB type-C charging support will also be given.
Other key specs are the 2x fast side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, AG glass back, anonymous auto call recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, mobile hotspot, dual SIM, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, expandable memory, 165 x 76.1 x 8.7 mm dimension, and 200 gm weight.
