iQOO 12 tipped to come with 1.5K AMOLED display and a periscope telephoto camera

Vivo sub-brand iQOO is expected to launch iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro flagship smartphones by the end of this year. As of now a number of key specifications have been tipped that include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in the IQOO 12 standard version paired with 24 GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The iQOO 12 is also tipped to come with an OV50H primary camera with a mid-range telephoto lens.

Amid these leaks came the leaked tentative launch schedule of the phones which claimed that the iQOO 12 series could be launched in the home market in November the same month when Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X100 series.

Famous tipster DCS who has been the source of multiple leaks about this series just recently revealed (Via) in his Weibo post that iQOO 12 has a 1.5 K AMOLED display and a periscope telephoto camera. Though the post has been edited on Weibo now. This is believed to be the display spec of the standard version.

Earlier the same tipster revealed that iQOO 12 Pro can come with Samsung E7 AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. It’s not confirmed whether this series will come with two smartphones but is believed to bring the iQOO 12 iQOO 12 Pro smartphone.
