Huawei launches The Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro And Pura 70 Ultra in Malaysia, available for pre order

Chinese company Huawei recently launched the Pura 70 series in China. The series comprises Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra smartphones. These smartphones have been listed on the company’s Malaysian website and are currently available for pre-orders. Huawei has not launched the Pro+ version of the series which makes it exclusive to the home market.

Price and availability 

The Huawei Pura 70 smartphone (12GB+256GB) is priced at RM 3,699 (~Rs 64,900) and comes in White, Black, and Pink color options. The Huawei Pura 70 Pro smartphone (12GB+512GB) is priced at RM 4,899 (~Rs 86,000) and comes in white and black colors. The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra (16GB+512GB) is priced at RM 6,599 (~Rs 1,15,000) and comes in Green, Black, and Brown color options. These phones are available for pre-order for RM 70 (~Rs 1230). The pre-order period ends on May 24th, but the start date for open sales is not specified. Additionally, customers will receive Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 and a Gift-General-Leisure Moments Gift Package as part of the offer.

Specifications

The Huawei Pura 70 series smartphones are powered by the Kirin 9010 chipset based on the 7nm process by SMIC. Similar to any flagship smartphone the series also comes with AI features like AI gesture control. Smartphones run EMUI 14.2 and come with a 13MP selfie camera. The camera department of smartphones does get significant attention especially when it comes to the 1-inch main retractable camera on the Huawei 70 Ultra. It also features a  40MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS on the rear side.

The Huawei Pura 70 smartphone features a 50MP OV50H main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. And the Huawei Pura 70 Pro smartphone sports a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12.5 ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto macro camera with OIS. The Huawei 70 smartphone sports a 6.6-inch wide LTPO OLED display whereas the Pro and Ultra version comes with an OLED LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate, and 1440 Hz PWM dimming.  As far as the battery is concerned the standard version is backed by a 4900 mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Pro versions are backed by a 5,050 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. Last comes the Ultra version which is backed by a 5200 mAh battery.
