Here’s the List of Smartphones that are Expected to Launch this August, 2023

This article will be a list of some of the upcoming smartphones that are expected to have their launch next month, in August 2023. Some of the devices have already appeared on official databases and many leaks suggesting its soon launch have already been reported by us.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro 

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone is an upcoming smartphone device that is expected to have its launch in the Chinese market, joining the brand’s other Ace series devices. Recent reports suggest the smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is likely to have a RAM of upto 24GB and an internal storage of upto 1TB.

The device may also feature an OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.74 inches which is supposed to have a 1.5K screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also suggested that the device might sport a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup at its rear along with a 16MP selfie camera. A 5000 mAh battery backup with 150W fast charge support is also expected to power the device.

OnePlus Open

OnePlus Open is OnePlus’ very first foldable device and many reports regarding the upcoming foldable smartphone have been coming over the past few months. The device is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is likely to feature a large foldable AMOLED inner display with a screen size of 8.02″ along with a 6.5″ AMOLED cover display.

A triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 OIS main camera, 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera is also expected on the device. Two selfie cameras of 32MP and 20MP are also expected to be featured on the cover display and inner display respectively. Regarding the battery backup, it is likely to be backed by a 4805 mAh battery which is to support an 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charge features.

Infinix GT Series Phone

The first ever Infinix GT series smartphone, which could be the Infinix GT 10 Pro is expected to be launched in August as per a tipster and the device is to feature an LED lighting system at its rear, similar to what has been introduced by Nothing in its smartphone devices.

As far as the specifications of the Infinix GT 10 Pro smartphone is concerned, it is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 chipset and may be coupled with a RAM of 12GB and internal storage of 256GB. It might also run on the Android 13-based XOS 13 and may feature a 6.8″ curved edge AMOLED display panel. A 200MP main camera with OIS support is also expected.

The device is likely to be a gaming-centric smartphone and is likely going to be packing a 5000 mAh battery with 260W fast charge support.

Redmi K60 Ultra

The Redmi K60 Ultra is an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone that has been anticipated to have its launch in China this August. The device as per what reports reveal, is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset and is likely to be coupled with an LPDDR5X RAM and a UFS 4.0 internal storage.

For its display, the upcoming smartphone may feature an OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.7″, a screen resolution of 1.5K, and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It may be backed by a 5000 or a 5500 mAh battery which is likely to support a fast charge feature of upto 120W.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

Xiaomi’s MIX Fold 3 is an upcoming foldable device from Xiaomi. The device has already received China’s 3C certification with its launch expected to take place in the month of August. Most of the specifications of the foldable are still under wraps but the device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 leading version with 3.36GHz primary clock speed. The 3C certification platform also confirmed the device to support a 67W wired fast charge feature and rumors point the device to have a 50W wireless charging support as well.

Huawei Mate 60 series

Huawei in the month of August is expected to launch the Huawei Mate 60 Pro smartphone which is likely going to be a 5G flagship smartphone from the brand after a long time. The smartphone has also been tipped to have three storage variants – 8GB/256, 12GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB.
