The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi has unveiled a new laptop in its home market in China. The brand has now unveiled the Redmi Book 14 laptop at a launch price of CNY 3,699.

Redmi Book 14
The latest Redmi Book 14 laptop is powered by the 12th generation Intel Core i5-12500H processor and is coupled with an LPDDR5 5200MT/s RAM of 16GB and a PCIe4.0 SSD internal storage of 512GB. The device also has an M.2 second hard disk bay as well for extending the storage.
About its design, the device has a light weight and thin design with a weight of about 1.37 kg and is 15.9mm thin. It can also be opened to upto 108 degree.
Now coming to its display, the newly unveiled Redmi Book 14 features a 2.8K display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display also has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 100% sRGB high color gamut. Its display also supports Dolby Vision and is TUV Rheinland certified.
The laptop also features a full sized three position backlit keyboard with two inbuilt speakers which supports Dolby Atmos along with four built-in microphones. A 2-in-1 1080p HD camera is also offered at its front. For better and seamless meeting and conference experience, the Redmi Book 14 also has a new meeting assistant with AI noise reduction, portrait center and subtitle transcription features. Thunderbolt 4 ports, NFC support, one-key hotspot, mouse and keyboard sharing, headphone quick connect and a fingerprint sensor are all additional features that are offered to its users.
Regarding its battery backup, the Redmi Book 14 laptop is backed by a 45Wh battery, offering its users a decent battery life and supports a 100W USB type-C fast charge feature, with which its users will be able to charge up the device in no time. Dual 8mm fans are also inbuilt in the device with proper airflow pipes, ensuring that the device never gets heats up while using it or while charging it.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Book 14 laptop has been launched in China at an exciting launch price of CNY 3,699 with an actual list price of CNY 4,599. The pre-orders have already begun and its sales will start on the 23rd of May 2023 at 8PM local time.
