Amazon has launched its biggest and most powerful tablet device, the Amazon Fire Max 11 powered by the MediaTek octa-core processor. The device is available in two storage options and starts at a price of $229.99.

Here’s more about the newly launched tablet.

Amazon Fire Max 11

Amazon’s latest tablet device, the Amazon Fire Max 11 as mentioned is powered by the MediaTek MT8188J octa-core processor which has a primary clock speed of 2.2GHz and it runs on the Fire OS 8 custom user interface. The device is claimed to be 50% faster than the previous Amazon Fire HD 10, launched last year.

For its display, the tablet features an 11-inch-large fully laminated display with a screen resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 5:3. The device also features an aluminum frame design along with toughened glass, making it three times more stronger and durable than Apple’s 10.9″ iPad.

Speaking more about its design, the tablet is slim, light in weight, and has an eco-friendly design with its body built using 55% recycled aluminum and 34% post-consumer recycled plastics. Even its packaging is done using 100% recycled materials.

Amazon’s Fire Max 11 tablet device also offers its users an 8MP camera each both on its front and rear and brings in a pair of speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the first time for a Fire tablet. Other notable features include Alexa integration for voice commands and Show Mode to control smart home devices.

Coming to its battery backup, Amazon hasn’t revealed its exact battery capacity but has stated that the device will offer a total battery life of upto 14 hours. A 9W USB 2.0 charging adapter is also provided with the tablet, with which users will be able to charge up the device in 4.2 hours.

Amazon’s Fire Max 11 is now available for pre-order and will be available in two storage options 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB, at a starting price of $299.99. A keyboard case and stylus can also be bundled up with the device and the whole package will start at $329.99.
